Energy transition

Argentina has reserves of both conventional and unconventional oil and gas, both onshore and offshore. This represents a strategic asset for diversifying and strengthening the country’s energy matrix. At QM, we have developed upstream industrial equipment and lead the Argentine market in the design and manufacturing of equipment for fracturing, stimulation, and cementing services. Since our beginnings in 2004, we have delivered over 260,000 HP in fracturing equipment, which represents approximately 40% of the HP currently operating in Vaca Muerta.

The mining industry plays a fundamental role in Argentina, both economically and strategically. On one hand, it significantly contributes to job creation and foreign exchange generation. Moreover, at a strategic level, it provides key minerals for the development of the energy sector, especially in the context of transitioning towards more sustainable energy sources. At QM, we aim to contribute our production capacity and support the growth of the mining industry.

We’re expanding horizons! We’re adapting our capabilities in equipment control design, artificial intelligence, and production skills to meet the needs of the agricultural industry. Our goal is to provide producers with continuous production lines that allow them to optimize their potato selection, weighing, and packaging processes.

In our commitment to the energy transition, we work together with suppliers and clients to optimize well service operations for hydrocarbon extraction. We constantly adapt our designs, focusing meticulously on energy efficiency, which translates directly into reducing greenhouse gas emissions and operation and maintenance costs. We aim to replace the use of diesel with gas in Vaca Muerta operations, as well as electrify all feasible processes.
